How To Start Putting Anxiety Behind You
1. Book An Appointment
Getting started and making a choice is the hardest part, but you’ll be glad you did.
2. Get A Strategic Plan
You’ll get a strategic yet gentle plan to leave anxiety behind. This is what you’ve been missing.
3. Start Feeling Better
You can be more present, confident, and at ease - with lasting results. All you need is a guide.
Knowing who to trust and where to start to get past your anxiety can feel impossible and discouraging, making you want to give up or figure it out on your own.
I have been where you are, feeling uncertain, searching, and hoping for relief. Someone once guided me through it, and it changed everything. I promised to do the same for others, and that is what brought me here.
I believe anxiety doesn’t have to be a lifelong ordeal. When you understand the processes behind it, lasting change is possible.
So, reach out to schedule an appointment. The journey from feeling powerless and stuck begins with small steps, ultimately leading to a deeper connection with the good, beautiful, and true aspects of life.
About Me
Anxiety is personal to me, and that’s what helps me support my clients. I understand how anxiety works, but more importantly, I care about what it takes from you — being present, enjoying free time, and fully engaging in life. People with anxiety are smart; they often excel in what they do, but they struggle to enjoy it. I want to help you reclaim that joy.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are your qualifications?
I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and most of my clients struggle with OCD or anxiety disorders. Many of them have “graduated” from therapy and moved past their major struggles with anxiety. OCD is personal to me, as I have loved ones who have faced it and greatly benefited from skilled therapists who knew how to help. I have advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety and training in Rumination-Focused Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) from clinical psychologist Dr. Michael J. Greenberg. This is a gentler treatment for OCD and all forms of anxiety that incorporates trauma and past experiences to aid your recovery.
What should I expect from therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, so my first goal is to listen — to understand where you’re stuck and what you’re hoping for. Is it panic attacks in certain situations, difficulty standing up for yourself, or stress from intrusive thoughts? From there, we’ll clarify what you want and value: being present with your kids, not feeling worn down by anxiety at the end of the day, enjoying your free time without fear that anxiety will ruin it, etc.
My goal is to help you make what you love and value the guiding light of your life rather than letting anxiety run the show. My approach is gentle, and we’ll start as small as we need to for you to build confidence and a sense of agency. More than just strategies to get you through bad moments, we’ll work to understand the system behind your anxiety and begin breaking it down step by step — for good.
You’re the hero of your journey, and I’m your guide. Once you become my client, I’m fully invested in you, and I’ll connect you with every resource I can to help you succeed.
What are your fees?
I’ll be able to take many major insurances by late summer of 2025, but my current rates are:
$75 - Household income $75,000 or less
$100 - Household income $75,001-$100,000
$125 - Household income $100,001-$125,000
$150 - Household income $125,001-$150,000
$175 - Household income $150,001+
Where do you work?
I work at The Center for Hope and Healing at Broadmoor, a church-based counseling center affiliated with Broadmoor Baptist Church. While the center is connected to the church, it is not located on the church’s physical campus. The address is 212 Key Drive, Madison, MS. I offer Telehealth services to anyone in the state of Mississippi.
I enjoy discussing how faith can help us overcome anxiety, but I am also happy to work with clients who are unsure of their faith or prefer not to integrate faith into therapy. I’ll meet you where you are.
